Ribbon buttons
The following table describes the buttons in the Template tab on the ribbon for the Report Designer.
Button | Function |

Saves the report. | |
Pastes items from the clipboard. | |
Cuts the selected item and stores it in the clipboard. | |
Copies the selected item and stores it in the clipboard. | |
The Undo button. | |
The Redo button. | |
Font | Contains font formatting controls. |
Alignment | Controls the way text in report elements is aligned. |
Zoom | Contains zoom controls. |
Arrange | Contains buttons to organize report elements, such as aligning vertically or horizontally, centering and bringing to the front or back. |
Layout | Contains buttons to manage spacing between report elements and adjust their height and width. |
Windows | Contains the list of available UI elements. Select elements from the list to show or hide them. |
Test Data | Selects a data set to test your report design while you are working on it. |
Properties | Opens the Report Properties dialog. See Report properties. |
